Dr. Grace Hameister

A seasoned doctor of chiropractic, Integrative Medicine, and food specialist, Dr. Grace is a Wisconsin native who was the first Olympic-level rhythmic gymnast in the state.  Her life as an elite athlete merged with geeky scientist after becoming a doctor and practicing in San Francisco and Beverly Hills for 18 years.  This crazy combo has brought her to live and work in the world of celebrity, high-powered executives, musicians, gifted practitioners, and innovative thinkers who are having a positive impact on people and our planet.

Milestones & Accomplishments

2021

• We threw our hat in the ring at the SE WI Clinical And Translational Science Institute HealthTech Pitch and killed it.

• Thanks to the NSF I-Corps program, we really got down to the nitty-gritty of what our customers need and how we can be the answer.

• We made it official too – Food FiXR is now a bona fide legal biz. I even got to take the stage at the HITLAB Innovators Summit 2021 to chat about our big plans.

• Plus, we bagged our first cash injection from an angel investor who gets the dream.

2022

• We cruised through the first 3 rounds of the WI Inno March Madness competition, thanks to a bunch of votes from folks who believe in us.

• The spotlight hit us in the Milwaukee Business Journal, The Pitch, where they talked up our impact and what we're all about.

• We scored a cool $10,000 grant from MKE Tech Hub and FOR-M, and didn't stop there – we also nabbed $2,500 as the top dogs at the Prize-Tech pitch competition.

• To top it all off, we got the nod to strut our stuff at the Milwaukee Tech Week Startup Showcase and we wrapped up the gener8tor gBETA Beloit program.

2023

• We snagged the silver at the SXSW Midwest House pitch competition in Austin, TX.

• Then, we charmed our way to a $5,000 grant on the Project Pitch It TV show, and yeah, we’re making waves on MKE screens.

• We shook hands and signed a deal with the tech wizards at Suggestic to kick-start our app's build-out. Got some love as the featured startup at the gener8tor Health Care Symposium down in Birmingham, AL.

• Fast forward to September 2023, we were handpicked as a hot portfolio company at the Chicago Venture Summit for the Future Of Food. And not to brag, but in October 2023, we were the talk of the town as the featured startup portfolio company for the Chicago Venture Summit Future Of Climate Tech.
